Stem Cells & Isosomes
At Lakha Medical Clinic, we are focused on providing the best stem cell therapy services and pain management treatment options to relieve sickness, alleviate pain, and help prevent further illnesses or medical complications for patients in Paramount, Huntington Park, and the surrounding areas. Our stem cell therapy services help treat a variety of chronic diseases and illnesses such as multiple sclerosis, migraine headaches, and autoimmune diseases.
During human development, each type of cell in the body including blood cells, muscle cells, and even brain tissues first start as stem cells. Because of their multiple uses and ‘raw’ form, stem cells can be used to manage pain and conditions and support the areas that need extra strength (i.e., areas of the body causing headaches and migraines). By sending in healthy backup cells, the body can determine how to best use the stem cells to reduce pain and prevent ongoing conditions from continuing.
Stem cell therapy has been successful in managing and treating various diseases and medical conditions due to the cells’ versatility in supporting affected areas of the body on a cellular level.
Stem cells are the blank slate of cells and can form into different types of cells depending on pain and medical conditions.
Under the close supervision of our medical staff, stem cell therapy is performed through a series of injections or by using an intravenous delivery method. By injecting the stem cells through an IV or a series of shots, your body receives them in a much higher concentration than what is naturally produced. During this portion of stem cell therapy, you won’t feel a thing as we will use a local anesthetic to keep you comfortable and pain-free.
Our doctor and the staff at Lakha Medical Clinic are experts in patient care and using alternative approaches to pain management. We understand that every patient and illness is unique, which is why we are committed to crafting personalized treatment plans for each patient. We believe that no one deserves to live in pain or discomfort, which is why our alternative treatment options are a great choice for those seeking long-term relief from the suffering and chronic symptoms of their condition.

Anti-aging medicine aims to slow the signs and conditions related to aging. Aging is inevitable, but helping you age well is our goal. We believe that through preventative screenings, early disease detection, optimal nutrition, and prompt intervention when necessary, we can help you achieve maximum health and longevity. Anti-aging medicine, in conjunction with integrative medicine, slows down biological factors on the molecular and cellular levels that contribute to disease.
If leading a healthy, active life sounds like something you want, we are here to help you!
Here at Lakha Medical Clinic we believe in the importance of preventative care and having routine screenings to maintain your overall good health. Early detection can be the key to treating women’s cancers and increasing the chances of a full recovery. Our practice offers various cancer screening options so that you can ensure your optimal health.
Clinical breast exams are conducted during each exam to search for any changes in your breasts or unusual lumps. We will ask about your family history and if any members have been diagnosed with breast cancer. Annual mammograms begin at the recommended age of 40.
It is important that you conduct self-breast exams at home so that you can notice any changes in your breast between visits.
Cervical Cancer Screenings
Pap smears are important for finding any changes in your cervical cells. These tests begin at the age of 21. The HPV test can also be conducted at this time since the HPV virus can lead to cervical cancer. Even if you have been vaccinated against HPV, it is still important that you follow the screening recommendations for your age group.
Colorectal Cancer Screenings
The screening for colon cancer typically begins at the age of 45, unless otherwise recommended by your doctor. This is accomplished by analyzing a stool sample or by examining the colon and rectum (colonoscopy).
Endometrial Cancer Screenings
During menopause, women should report any unexpected vaginal changes such as bleeding or spotting. There are many causes of postmenopausal bleeding that can be benign such as uterine polyps or fibroids. However, uterine cancer, or endometrial cancer, can also cause abnormal changes during menopause. If you notice any changes, please report them to your doctor so that a biopsy can be conducted to determine whether there is a concern for cancer.
It is important to understand that often times where the pain presents is not the area that needs to be treated. The pain may be due to that area compensating and being over-worked from another area not pulling its weight. Our rehabilitation program includes strength, flexibility and agility training as well as training focused on coordination of body parts and motion to prepare the individual to return to full participation.

If you or your children suffer from allergies, asthma, hay fever, sinusitis, rashes, hives, reactions to foods, insects stings, or drugs, we can help. If something is confusing, we will carefully explain it, in a language you can understand. We emphasize patient education because we realize there is a lot of confusion about allergies, and how they can be treated. As board-certified specialists in adult and pediatric allergy, asthma, and immunology, we are armed with the latest advances in diagnosing and treating allergies and asthma, balanced with the common sense that comes from years of experience. Allergists, such as the physicians at Lakha Medical Clinic, are medical specialists in the treatment of allergies diseases, and related conditions. Any physician may treat allergic disease; however, our board-certified allergists-immunologists have the advanced training and experience in determining what causes an allergic reaction and how best to solve the problem.
An Electrocardiogram (ECG or EKG) is one of the simplest and fastest procedures used to evaluate the heart. Electrodes (small, plastic, patches) are placed at certain locations on the chest, arms and legs. When the electrodes are connected to an ECG machine by lead wires, the electrical activity of the heart is measured, interpreted, and printed out for the physician's information and further interpretations. An exercise ECG is performed to assess the heart's response to stressor exercise. The ECG is monitored while a person is exercising on a treadmill or stationary bike.
An ECG tracing will be taken at certain points during the test in order to compare the effects of increasing stress on the heart. Periodically, the incline and treadmill speed will be increased in order to make exercise more difficult for the person being tested. If the person is riding a bicycle, he/she will pedal faster against increased resistance. In either circumstance, the person will exercise until reaching a target heart rate (based on age and physical status) or until unable to continue due to fatigue, shortness of breath, chest pain or other symptoms.
When you have Asthma, your airways narrow and swell. They produce extra mucus, and breathing becomes difficult. The most common asthma signs and symptoms are coughing, wheezing and shortness of breath. For some people, asthma symptoms are a minor nuisance. For others, they are a major problem that interferes with daily activities. If you have severe asthma, you may be at risk of a life-threatening asthma attack.
Asthma can´t be cured, but its symptoms can be controlled. Treatments include taking steps to avoid your particular asthma triggers, using long-term control medications to prevent flare-ups and using a quick-relief inhaler to control symptoms once they start. Because asthma changes over time, you will work with your doctor to track your signs and symptoms and adjust treatment as needed.
The term "Diabetes mellitus" refers to a group of diseases that affects how your body uses blood glucose, commonly called blood sugar. Glucose is vital to your health because it´s the main source of energy for the cells that make up your muscles and tissues. It´s your body's main source of fuel.
If you have diabetes, no matter what type, it means you have too much glucose in your blood, although the reasons may differ. Too much glucose can lead to serious health problems. Chronic diabetes conditions include type 1 diabetes and type 2 diabetes. Potentially reversible diabetes when your blood sugar levels are higher than normal, but not high enough to be classified as diabetes and gestational diabetes, which occurs during pregnancy.
Cholesterol is found in every cell in your body. Cholesterol is used by your body to build healthy cells, as well as some vital hormones. When you have high cholesterol, you may develop fatty deposits in your blood vessels. Eventually, these deposits make it difficult for enough blood to flow through your arteries. Your heart may not get as much oxygen-rich blood as it needs, which increases the risk of heart attack. Decreased blood flow to your brain can cause a stroke. High cholesterol (hypercholesterolemia) is largely preventable and treatable. A healthy diet regular exercise and sometimes medication can go a long way toward reducing high cholesterol. High cholesterol has no symptoms. A blood test is the only way to detect high cholesterol.
When to see a doctor: Ask your doctor for a baseline cholesterol test at age 20 and then have your cholesterol retested at least every five years. If your test results aren't within the desirable range and if you have a family history of high cholesterol or other risk factors, like smoking or diabetes your doctor may recommend more frequent tests.
Bronchitis is an inflammation of the lining of your bronchial tubes, which carry air to and from your lungs. Bronchitis may be either acute or chronic. A common condition, acute bronchitis often develops from a cold or other respiratory infection.
Chronic bronchitis, a more serious condition, is a constant irritation or inflammation of the lining of the bronchial tubes often due to smoking. Acute bronchitis usually improves within a few days without lasting effects, although you may continue to cough for weeks. If you have repeated bouts of bronchitis, you may have chronic bronchitis, which requires medical attention. Chronic bronchitis is one of the conditions included in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
Treatment for bronchitis focuses on revealing your symptoms and easing your breathing.
High Blood Pressure
You can have high blood pressure (hypertension) for years without a single symptom. Uncontrolled high blood pressure increases your risk of serious health problems, including heart attack and stroke. Blood pressure is determined by the amount of blood your heart pumps and the amount of resistance to blood flow in your arteries. The more blood your heart pumps and the narrower your arteries, the higher your blood pressure. High blood pressure typically develops over many years, and it affects nearly everyone eventually. Fortunately, high blood pressure can be easily detected. And once you know you have high blood pressure, you can work with your doctor to control it.

Don´t suffer from pain another minute!
Your weight is a balancing act, and calories are part of that equation. Fad diets may promise you that counting carbs or eating a mountain of grapefruit will make the pounds drop off. But when it comes to weight loss, it´s calories that count. Weight loss comes down to burning more calories than you take in. You can do that by reducing extra calories from food and beverages and increasing calories burned through physical activity. Once you understand that equation, you´re ready to set your weight loss goals and make a plan for reaching them. remember, you don´t have to do it alone. Talk to your doctor, family, and friends for support. Also, plan smart: Anticipate how you´ll handle situations that challenge your resolve and the inevitable minor setbacks.
If you have serious health problems because of your weight, your doctor may suggest weight-loss surgery or medications for you. In this case, you and your doctor will need to thoroughly discuss the potential benefits and the possible risks. But don´t forget the bottom line: The key to successful weight loss is a commitment to making permanent changes in your diet and exercise habits.

Our personal injury Clinic treats people who have sustained automobile and work-related injuries to their neck, back, shoulders, arms and legs. Our physicians are injury treatment specialists that are well versed in the legal system and can work with your lawyer or provide one for you. We know what patients and their lawyers need, understand pain and suffering, and are experts in writing medical-legal reports and giving Court testimony.
